Robbed!

I arrived home after my class to find that I'd been robbed! The thieves took ... my mailbox.

How bizarre and, ultimately, funny.

I am the only one on the street to have a free standing mailbox and not one attached to the house itself since my house is so far back from the road. I had decorated it with my own handprints about a year ago and had a lot of fun with it. Maybe six months ago someone broke the post just below the ground, so it's been wobbly but relatively stable. Now it's so unstable that it's gone entirely.

Bother. Whatevah shall Ah dew? Git me a new one, I'm a guessin'.

Ugh - might have to wait until Saturday when I have free time ... or even Sunday afternoon before the recital.
